Once upon a time, there was a curious little girl named Staci Blunt, who was born and raised in the small western town of Wickenburg, Arizona. Growing up with limited resources, Staci especially loved to read, learning about the adventures of others, and aspiring to travel the world. She studied hard in college, earning a degree in Tourism and Recreation Management.
Staci wanted to learn the entire tourism industry–trying out various career segments to gain expansive knowledge, including selling reservations for a national airline, making Hostel arrangements and selling Eurail passes to students, promoting Arizona tourism destinations to travel agents and tour operators around the world, marketing inbound motorcoach tours and helping people book domestic and international travel packages.
While raising a family, she also traveled around the world, visiting all 50 states (North Dakota was her last state visited in 2017) and over 100 countries on six continents (her most recent international trip was to Bhutan in 2017). Staci explored fascinating wonders of the world, such as Machu Picchu in Peru, the Great Pyramid at Giza in Egypt, the Monastery at Petra in Jordan, Chichen Itza and other Mayan and Aztec ruins in Mexico and Latin America, the Taj Mahal at Agra in India, the Christ the Redeemer Statue in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, the Great Wall of China, the Colosseum at Rome in Italy, and many more.
Staci also met many people along the way–sharing her story and learning their stories.
And because of all this, Staci learned a lot about the people and destinations that make our world so amazing! Staci continues to learn through opportunities gained from personal travel, industry updates, trade events, travel blogs, articles and networking opportunities. From all her experiences, Staci is now ready to share her tips and deals to inspire others. The world can be explored through many different methods and budgets–you don’t have to wait until retirement to travel.
